VNVi’s flag-ship product suite, repedo, today took a significant step towards becoming the market’s premier product for enterprise document creation, aimed at Oracle ebusiness customers. “We are really pleased at how the product development team behind repedo has worked to ready this first release of the product. We are right on track with our product road-map and this first release will allow Oracle users to create basic business documents with relative ease, leveraging information that resides in their Oracle Applications environment,” stated Nigel Underwood, VP – Global Solutions. “This first release is a real milestone because we have developed a thin-client Document Composer which offers users the familiarity of MS Word, in addition to a host of other empowering features, which will be available in forthcoming releases. One of the advantages of using repedo’s Document Composer is that it is totally secure. No longer can a confidential business document be accesses by unauthorised personnel,” stated Nigel Underwood.
Mail merging problems are a distant memory for v1.00 users as one user group revealed. Six thousand personalized letters were produced in a matter of seconds using repedo, all with specific pre-defined wording depending on the grade of employee and work location.
VNVi now looks forward to releasing the first production release to a handful of key users, while the development effort on the next release continues.
